About The Company Players
|
"The Company" Players produced and directed by Melanie Como has been the leading musical perfrming group in Michiana for 24 years. Their dazzling musical review "Just Singin' and Dancin'" includes jumping, stomping choreography with fast paced singing of familiar Broadway tunes. Their vibrant performing energy is sure to boost your heart rate! Join the fun! |

"The Company" was the brain-child of Melanie and Wendy Como in the early 80's. Mel Como headed the group and Wendy took head of the choreography. "The Company" has firmly believed that their should be a place to teach our young and anyone that has a desire to learn, to hone their talents and that is why the group was formed. They had a group of five singers and dancers at their first performance which was in the Four Flags Hotel in Niles. "The Company" escalated from a group of five to a group of 35-45 singers and dancers, and a full pit of musicians. At their biggest, there were 60 cast members and 15 members in the orchestra. |
