The lovers are secretly in love against the will of their "feuding" fathers. This reverse psychology works for a time until the lovers are ready to wed. The rest of the story seeks to remind us that, "without a hurt, the heart is hollow." An incredible production by a masterful director!

Based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, Godspell presents a whimsical view of Jesus that is a mixture of rock, folk, pop, and Broadway. This jubilant celebration was the first pop-rock gospel musical created from the youth culture of the sixties. Godspell is pantomimes, pratfalls, and slight of hand. It is dancing and more dancing! It is a message of love that is cheerfully irreverent, high spirited, joyous, without being sacrilegious or blasphemous. Energize your spirit at this production.
