Andrew's toys come to life when the nursery lights go out. The boy's favorite toy becomes a ragged, stuffed bunny, but all changes when Andrew comes down with scarlet fever and all his bedding is ordered burned including the bunny. The Velveteen Rabbit is universal in its themes of children growing up and the transforming power of love; a timeless message that love conquers all!
