Acting Classes
Beginning Acting 3rd-6th grade - July 11th -15th 9:00-10:30
Students will explore the world of acting through a wide assortment of theatre games, improvisation, and activities. Students will engage in scenes. This class provides a fun and creative way for students to enhance social skills and to build self-esteem.
On Friday friends and parents may watch performances.
Intermediate Acting 7th-10th grade – July 11th -15th 10:30-12:00
Students will hone their dramatic skills during this week-long camp filled with theatre games, improvisation, scenes, and monologues. This session is a great summer warm-up or brush-up for middle and intermediate high school drama students.
On Friday friends and parents may watch performances.
Musical Theatre Classes
Beginning Performers 3rd-6th grade– July 18th-22nd 9-10:30
Students will explore the world of acting and musical theatre through a wide assortment of theatre games, improvisation, and activities. Students will engage in scenes and learn songs and dances from popular Broadway musicals. This class provides a fun and creative way for students to enhance social skills and to build self-esteem.
On Friday friends and parents may watch performances.
Intermediate Performers 7th– 10th grade – July 18th – 22nd 10:30-12:00
Students will explore the world of acting and musical theatre through participation in games, improvisation, and activities. Students will engage in scenes and learn songs and choreography from popular Broadway musicals. These sessions are an excellent introduction to show choir and musical theatre techniques. On Friday friends and parents may watch performances.
The Teacher: Jeannie Conard-Boudiette is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy and the University of Tulsa. She has been teaching theatre arts for the past 11 years.
Cost: $50.00 per Student (Family Discount for Two or More Children $40.00 each)
